This morning Steve Jobs took the stage at their Cupertino headquarters to address the world about the issues surrounding the iPhone 4. Near the end of the presentation, Steve Jobs confirmed that the second wave of iPhone 4 launches will take place on July 30th–which includes Canada!
iPhone 4 Coming to Canada on July 30th–Confirmed
As we confirmed this July 30th date (this reaffirms that wireless carriers and dealers are always the last to know release dates), Apple also confirmed the white iPhone 4 will be coming at the end of July as well.

The big question remains whether or not Canadians will receive the second batch of iPhone 4 units that will have a fix to this antenna issue. Also, will Canada get a chance to pre-order the iPhone 4?
But in the meantime, Apple will be giving out free Bumper cases to all new iPhone 4 owners. This is not a permanent fix and doesn’t do anything really to the early iPhone 4 adopters in the USA, but it’s a start.
More to come as this story develops…

So source out on the web saying that Blackberry will be making a tablet of there own have been confirmed and is on the horizon. The rumour is that the tablet will run on OS 6, dual cameras, slide-out keyboard, wifi/bluetooth, 4GB storage and a 8.9″ screen.
Above is a video of the Blackberry OS 6. You may be wondering is isn’t this everything the iPhone has been doing for years? Yes to all of the above except the BB Tablet will support Flash.support Flash.
So will this tablet be better then the iPhone 4 or even Apple’s very own tablet the have released the iPad. Well we don’t know right now, all we can do right now is wait until Blackberry releases there tablet to the public.

You might know who who Eric Jess is. Well he is a tech person who mainly makes Youtube videos related to tech but also has non-tech related on his Youtube page which is http://www.youtube.com/erichereatthetube. Not only does he make videos online he also runs a 24/7 livestream and chatroom on his website at http://www.ericjess.com/?page_id=10. There you chat to other people nd talk about technology and other things, even things not related to technology. So mainly what this post is about is sometimes Eric does live Skype calls on his stream and sometimes even records them and posts them on his Yutube page. Wellin the past few live calls I have called in and talked to Eric and even his sister Celsey talking about tech and non-tech related subjects. Below are some of the live calls Eric has recored of me calling in. So check them out and I hope you enjoy them!

If you haven’t noticed yet Mozilla has released a beta version of there newest version of Firefox to the public. Now you can go and download the new Firefox 4 demo at this link http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/. For now not everything with the program has been finalized, Mozilla just wants the public to test it out and then send them feedback on things the public likes and dislikes. Then they will know what and what not to change or to add before releasing the full version.
After downloading and installing the Firefox 4 Beta you will see a major change which is the design. Now the top and bottom bars are much lighter and no longer the medium grey that the previous version used to have. Also the refresh, home, and are now buttons which glow when cursor is on top along with the back and forward page buttons. Now the URL bar and search bar are now rounded and no longer have square edges. Something new with Firefox 4 is being bale to pace the tabs above or below the URL bar, to do this right click on the grey boarder around the URL and select tabs on top for the tabs to be on top and deselect it for the tabs to be below. Another thing I found which is not that big that is new is when you open up the add-ons options it no longer opens in a pop-up window. Now it will open up in the browser in a new tab. Also some of your add-ons such as extensions and themes may not work or work properly with the new version of Firefox. You may have to wait until there are updates for your add-ons so they will work properly.
The main thing that Mozilla was looking for was feedback from the public. You may be wondering were to send feedback, well in the top right corner beside the search bar Mozilla has added a feedback button which when click brings down a drop down menu. There you can select the green smiley face which says Firefox made me happy because beside it to send positive feed back or select the red sad face which says Firefox made me sad because beside t to send negative feedback. You can also get to the feedback menu by click tools and going to feedback.
So overall I really like the new Firefox 4 Beta and recommend Firefox user who haven’t downloaded it to do so and for people who haven’t used Firefox before to try it out. Right now I think Firefox is the best browser out there due to being safe, fast, and very customizable also do to all the cool add-ons you can get.

The Sonicorp websites interface has received quite the facelift tonight. While everything is not final at this point, I do want to take this moment to briefly explain what has changed.
New Design Theme
One major upgrade to the website is its design theme. By changing the sites design theme it makes the site more eye pleasing to users. By this I mean with the old site there were items all around distracting users from actually doing what they are supposed to do which is concentrate more on the blog posts. Another reason for changing the design theme is due to the old site being to simplistic and not eye catching to users. By using this this new design theme it’s more eye pleasing but still has a simplistic to it.
Two Column Layout
By reducing columns from before having three to now having two columns it allows site’s visitors to concentrate more on the blog posts, while leaving the sidebar to static information. Now with having two columns it makes it easier for site users to navigate around the site pages making it quicker to get to things. With having a site that is easy for site users to navigate and not have any problems means that users will be coming back again and again.
User Submissions Gallery
All user submitted wallpapers are now presented in a styled gallery. As usual, they can be downloaded and used right away. If you would like to submit wallpaper to the gallery, please email it to feedback@sonicorp.ca.
That pretty much covers the major changes. You’ll notice some minor tweaks here and there. I encourage you to contact me with any feedback or feature requests you may have. There will be some more changes in the near future. As always, thank you so much for your support. Keep on blogging!
